Fiber Optic Installer / FTTH Technician / Glasfasermonteur (m/f/d)

As KLC Consulting, on behalf of an international partner company based in Kleve, we are looking for qualified Fiber Optic Installers / FTTH Technicians (m/f/d) for ongoing and planned FTTH (Fiber to the Home) projects across Germany.

The selected candidates will work actively on-site in modern fiber optic infrastructure projects and will be involved in the installation, connection, and commissioning of fiber optic networks. The work is carried out as part of FTTH projects for residential and commercial customers and is performed in accordance with applicable technical standards and project requirements.

The position is mobile in nature. Assignments may take place in different regions of Germany depending on project requirements and the candidate’s experience.

This position is suitable for technically skilled, reliable, and team-oriented candidates who wish to apply their technical expertise in field operations and participate in long-term infrastructure projects. Project assignments are made based on individual qualifications and professional experience. Work is carried out within international and multicultural teams.

After employment, new employees receive an approximately one-month onboarding and adaptation training within the company.

● Vocational training in fiber optics, FTTH, telecommunications, or electrical/electronic engineering
● Professional diploma, certificate, or qualification document in the relevant field (required)
● Minimum 2 years of field experience in fiber optic / FTTH installation (required)
● Practical experience in cable blowing (Einblasen), splice closure installation, and fusion splicing
● Knowledge of OTDR measurement devices and result evaluation
● Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and site plans
● Ability to adapt to flexible working hours and different locations
● Team-oriented, high sense of responsibility, and solution-focused
● Class B driving license (preferred)
● German or English language skills preferred but not mandatory

● Fiber optic cable pulling, installation, and connection work in FTTH projects
● Fiber cable placement into ducts using blowing machines (Einblasen)
● Installation and commissioning of residential and commercial subscriber connections
● Precision fiber optic splicing (Fusion Splice) operations
● Splice closure installation, termination, and protection work
● Line testing with OTDR and power meter, documentation of results
● Fault detection, analysis, and repair work on fiber lines
● On-site installation, cable routing, and technical applications according to project plan
● Implementation of traffic safety and site safety measures when required
● Completion of all work in accordance with German technical standards (DIN/VDE) and occupational safety regulations
● Preparation of daily work reports and information flow to project management
